The Pittsburgh Pirates were swept by the Milwaukee Brewers Wednesday following a 4-2 loss. The Bucs managed just five singles and struck out 13 times in the game. Pirates starting pitcher Mitch Keller had his best outing in three starts, allowing just one run on four hits, while pitching into the sixth inning. Keller did not walk a batter and struck out seven. The Pirates fell to 5-7, while the Brewers improved to 8-5.
The Bucs begin a four-game series with the Chicago Cubs tonight at Wrigley Field. First pitch tonight is 7:40pm, then the two teams play three consecutive day games.
