Butler basketball senior Devin Carney was named to the Pennsylvania Sports Writers All-State First Team for Class 6A over the weekend. Carney was the only WPIAL player to make the First team. North Hills sophomore Royce Parham was named to the Second Team along with senior Eli Yofan of Fox Chapel.
