The New York Rangers defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-3 last night at Madison Square Garden in Game 5 of their Stanley Cup Playoff Series. The Penguins still lead the series 3-2 heading into Game 6 Friday night in Pittsburgh.
The Penguins were leading last night’s game 2-0 when Penguins captain Sidney Crosby took a hit to the head and eventually left the game. After Crosby left the ice, the Rangers outscored the Penguins 5-1 and went on to victory.

–Florida rallied from a 3-0 deficit to defeat the Washington Capitals 5-3 and have taken a 3-2 series lead.
–Calgary defeated Dallas 3-1 and have gone up 3-2 in their Western Conference Series.
