Justin Thomas overcame a seven-shot deficit to win the PGA Championship in a two-hole playoff Sunday over Will Zalatoris in Oklahoma. Mito Pereira entered the day with a three-shot lead, and still led by a stroke on the final hole, but drove his ball into a creek and took a double bogey. It was the first time since Phil Mickelson at Winged Foot in the 2006 U.S. Open that a player lost a one-shot lead on the final hole to lose a major.
