The Grove City Police have filed charges against a Slippery Rock woman following their investigation into a hit and run that occurred last week.
Authorities say that just before 4 p.m. on Thursday officers were sent out to the area of Edgewood and Gilmore Avenues after a vehicle left the roadway.
The motorist then ran over a stop sign, struck a telephone pole, and finally left the scene.
The vehicle was located a short time later and police filed charges against 27-year-old Caris Constantino including DUI, Careless Driving, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
