Gas prices made another huge jump overnight, closing in on $5 per gallon.
According to AAA’s website, the average price for a gallon of regular, unleaded self-serve in the Butler area is $4.99. That’s slightly below the state average of $5.03.
Meanwhile, diesel also jumped to over $6 per gallon on average in Pennsylvania.
AAA officials once again say the rising cost of oil, which around $120 per barrel, and the high demand for gas is the reason for the rise.
