The Big Ten Conference has voted to accept Southern California and UCLA as members beginning in 2024. The Big Ten’s expansion to 16 teams will happen after the Pac-12 conferences media rights contracts with Fox Sports and ESPN expire. The additions will make the Big Ten Conference the first to stretch from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific and the intent is to allow the conference to compete with the newly expanded Southeast Conference which will add Texas and Oklahoma by 2025.
