Butler County Community College has a new president of their foundation’s board—and he’s the youngest to ever hold the position.
The college announced 23-year-old Matthew Reitler as the newest leader of their foundation, which seeks and manages private gifts to BC3.
Reitler was a 2019 alum of BC3’s Armstrong campus and has since become an award winning financial advisor for Northwestern Mutual. He also purchased a home that will be near the new BC3 Armstrong campus.
“When I was at BC3, I took advantage of every door that opened for me and every opportunity that was there,” Reitler said. “Having access to a very high-quality, affordable education is going to have a great impact on this community. … a solid future they might not have had access to if BC3 wasn’t in the heart of the community.”
Reitler joins 17 other board members that compose the foundation, which began in 1985.
