The NFL has suspended Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross and fined him $1.5 million for tampering with Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and former New Orleans head coach Sean Payton. The suspension stems from the league’s six-month investigation into Brian Flores racial discrimination lawsuit against the league. That investigation has found the Dolphins did not intentionally lose games in 2019, but the team did have impermissible communication with the agent of both Brady and Payton. The Dolphins will also forfeit their first-round draft pick next year. They also lose their third-round selection in 2024. Ross is suspended through October 17th
