The Pittsburgh Pirates snapped a seven-game losing streak following a 5-3 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers last night. It was the first of three games with the Brewers at PNC Park. Oneil Cruz hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning that tied the game at 3-3. The Bucs went on to score five runs in that inning.
Colin Holderman, acquired from the New York Mets in the trade for Daniel Vogelbach, earned the victory in relief of Bryse Wilson.
The Bucs and Brewers play again tonight at 7:05pm. Hear the game on WISR beginning with the pre-game at 6:40pm.
