The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 8-7 last night for their second consecutive victory. Bryan Reynolds hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning for the win. The game also saw Oneil Cruz hit a 434-foot home run in the seventh inning.
Tucapita Marcano returned to the Pirates to replace Yoshi Tsutsugo, who was designated for assignment Wednesday. He had three hits in the game, scored and drove in a run.

The Pirates head to Baltimore following the game for a weekend series with the Orioles. It will begin one of two 10-game road trips remaining in the Pirates season.
The Pirates have placed reliever David Bednar on the 15-day Injured List with back inflammation.
