The Pittsburgh Pirates lost to the Chicago Cubs 3-2 last night in the opening game of a four-game series at PNC Park. The game turned into a pitching battle, with Pirates starter Mitch Keller taking the loss, despite allowing just two runs on four hits over six innings. He struck out seven. A two-run second inning for the Cubs was the difference in the game.
The two teams play again tonight at 6:35pm.
