Butler County Community College All-American golfer Troy Loughry (Lock-ree) won his second consecutive Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference individual men’s title over the weekend, and the unbeaten Pioneers captured their eighth crown since 2013 in the fall season-ending championship tournament at The Links at Spring Church. Loughry shot a 4-under 68 for a seven stroke victory to become the school’s second two-time WPCC individual winner. Liam Kosior finished third overall with a 76. The 36-hole tournament had to be reduced to 18 holes due to weather.
The BC3 golfers ended consecutive fall seasons with a perfect record for the first time in school history. Coach Bill Miller’s team went 12-0 this year and 11-0 in 2021.
