At least one person was injured as a result of a brush fire Tuesday afternoon in Oakland Township.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 1 p.m. for the fire on Welter Road.
Firefighters from Oneida Valley and East Butler EMS arrived on the scene to find a brush fire spreading into a wooded area. The fire was under control in less than an hour and crews left the scene soon after.
A female needed medical treatment for burns to the legs. Her condition is not known at this time.
