The acting secretary of state in Pennsylvania is asking for voters to be patient after the polls close next week.
Leigh Chapman said that all the results may not be tabulated by the end of the night.
She cited that there are around 1.3 million mail-in ballots that counties will need to count. However, counties can’t begin to count the ballots until 7 a.m. Election Day morning.
Locally, interim elections director Wil White says he expects the county will have their unofficial results posted by the end of the night. He also said that as of mid-October, the county had nearly 19,000 in mail-in ballot applications.
