Armstrong County Memorial Hospital will be receiving state funding to help fund a new addition to their facility.
The hospital has been in the process of modernizing their oncology department, and that includes a construction project that will nearly double the facility’s infusion capabilities.
State Senator Joe Pittman announced $500,000 has been awarded to the hospital through a Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program grant. He says the investment will help “protect and improve the health and well-being of Armstrong County residents.”
