AAA is expecting this year’s holiday travel to continue to increase compared to last year.
Over 113 million Americans are expected to hit the roads and air to make a trip over the Christmas season. That’s up from 109 million traveling in 2021.
That’s still a little shy of pre-pandemic travel according to AAA. Road travel times on Friday are expected to be heaviest between 4 and 7 p.m. with faster travel expected before 2 p.m. or after 8 p.m.
The travel agency also suggests that those traveling by air check the latest info as flights can change quickly due to weather concerns.
