Work is coming along on in Butler County’s effort to relocate a couple of their offices.
County officials say the Bureau of Election’s move to the Butler City magistrate’s office on West Cunningham Street is progressing. They believe the election office will be able to relocate by June.
The same is expected for the relocations of the Butler City and Butler Township magistrate offices. The city is moving to the Pullman Square, where they will share space with the coroner’s office.
Meanwhile, the township magistrate is moving to the former headquarters of Friedman’s on Fairground Hill Road. That project is also expected to finish by early summer.
