Federal officials are once again reminding consumers about a recall alert involving a baby sleeper.
The U.S. Consumer Safety and Protection Agency is warning parents about the Fisher Price Rock-n-Play sleeper—a type of chair used to rock infants to sleep.
An original recall was issued in April 2019 after 30 children were reported to have died after “rolling onto stomach while unrestrained.”
Since that time, another 70 children have reportedly died in the same instance, so the CSPA is once again sounding the alarm about the recall.
Fisher-Price stopped production of the sleeper in 2019, but the CSPA is recommending all parents stop using the sleeper right away.
