Pittsburgh Penguins fell 4-1 to the Winnipeg Jets on Friday night.
Drew O’Connor scored the Pens’ lone goal, while Mark Scheifele scored 2 goals for the Jets. Pens’ goalie Dustin Tokarski stopped 36 of 40 shots in the loss.
The Penguins will play again Saturday night at 7pm with coverage beginning at 6:30pm on WISR.

High School Bowling
The Butler High School Bowling team split with Deer Lakes on Friday night. The boys won 7-0 while the girls lost 7-0.
Luke Keene led the boys with a 695 series, while Eric Devore had a 694. Alex Ekas also shot a 614 and Rocco Rice had a 608. The Boys improved to 7-0.
On the girls’ side, Kelsee McConnell led the Golden Tornado with a 538 series. Natalie Coughenour had a 509 series with a team high of 201. The Butler girls fell to 5-2.
The Butler teams will host Shaler on Wednesday (1/18) at Family Bowlaway. A win for the Butler boys will clinch the WPIBL and a win for the girls will clinch a playoff spot.
