Residents from Butler are set to leave for Washington D.C. early Friday morning as the embark on the annual March For Life.
But, it marks a new year for the march with the Supreme Court overturning of Roe v. Wade last summer.
The theme of this year is “Next Steps: Marching in a Post-Roe America.” It will also mark the 50th anniversary of the March for Life.
A bus will leave St. Conrad’s Church in Meridian at 6 a.m. The daylong trip expects to have residents back in Butler at 11 p.m.
Tickets are $30 and can be purchased prior to Friday morning.
