The United State Environmental Protection Agency is inviting some local residents to a virtual meeting later this week about emissions and chemical risk from a local business.
Zelienople residents can learn more about the American Contract Systems commercial sterilizer facility at the meeting planned for Thursday at 6 p.m.
EPA staff will be joined by federal and state environmental and health officials to address public concerns in connection with the facility located in the 4000 block of Jacksons Pointe Court.
The EPA is sharing emissions data with residents to get feedback about proposed air pollution regulations in order to protect public health. Visit the website of the EPA to register or for more information.
