Congressman Mike Kelly is joining with other Republican lawmakers in a bill that he says would expand school choice.
Kelly says the bill would provide a “charitable donation incentive for individuals and businesses to fund scholarship awards for students to cover expenses related to K-12 public and private education.”
The “Educational Choice for Children Act” would provide $10 billion in annual tax credits made available to taxpayers.
Kelly believes parents and children should have a choice in where they are educated.
