A Butler County lawmaker is working on supporting those dealing with food insecurity.
State Senator Elder Vogel will once again serve as the co-chair of the Legislative Hunger Caucus.
Among other efforts, this group operates the Capitol Hunger Garden on the grounds of the state Capitol which harvested over 700 pounds of produce last season.
This Hunger Caucus also holds an annual food drive in September and supports the annual Capitol All-Stars charity legislative softball game which raises money for a Pennsylvania food network for those in need.
