A man is in police custody after he allegedly stabbed someone in the City of Butler.
The incident happened Tuesday around 7 p.m. in the 400 block of West New Castle Street.
When city police got on scene, they talked with the victim who said he was stabbed with a small knife in the back of his head by 19-year-old Aaron Demko of Butler.
The victim also said that the small knife broke and that Demko grabbed a larger knife and attacked the victim again.
The victim was able to fend off the attack and was able to escape.
Police say they located Demko walking in the Pullman Plaza near the Arby’s restaurant.
He was taken into custody and placed in the Butler County Prison.
