The avian flu is continuing to spread in Pennsylvania and impacting more flocks at state farms.
The Department of Agriculture says six more flocks in the middle of the state were recently hit with a wave of the bird flu. The impacted flocks included ducks, turkeys, and poultry farms.
Over the last 30 days in Pennsylvania, there have been around 200,000 birds that have been put down due to the bird flu.
Agriculture officials urge bird owners to take all necessary precautions in order to prevent the spread of the avian flu.
