A home was significantly damaged in a fire last night in Adams Township.
The first call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 6:30 p.m. for an attic fire at a home in the 200 block of Downieville Road.
When crews got on scene they found a heavily involved blaze. The fire was intense and spread quickly to the garage.
Firefighters say a portion of the garage then collapsed.
Crews were able to get the fire under control in about an hour but remained on scene until 10:30 p.m.
Everyone was able to safely get out of the house. It’s not known what started the fire.
