A local campground is continuing their support for helping fund cancer research.
The Buttercup Woodlands Campground recently announced a donation of nearly $9,500 to the Relay for Life of Cranberry.
The campers in Connoquenessing Township raised the funds last year by having a rib-cook off, basket auctions, and a golf tournament.
“We have had campers, friends, and family near and dear to us over the years fight their battles with cancer,” campground owner Ed Tanski said. “This is just a small part of what we can do. Our campers are phenomenal. This wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for them.”
The Relay for Life of Cranberry is a part of the American Cancer Society.
