Cranberry Township will soon begin hydrant flushing around the municipalitiy.
Officials say this is a routine operation designed to flush sediment from the water system and to check the fire hydrants operations.
Flushing will be done in between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. during weekdays. Residents may see discolored water and fluctuations in water pressure if a hydrant is being flushed at that time.
Officials also say that if the water does not clear after a reasonable amount of time, call Customer Service at 724-776-4806.
