The final show of the Butler County Symphony’s season will take the stage this weekend.
Saturday’s show will take listeners back to the cinema’s hey day with a performance entitled “The Golden Age of Hollywood.”
The symphony will perform selections from Academy Award-winning classics “Lawrence of Arabia,” “Captain Blood,” “High Noon,” “Gone with the Wind,” “Vertigo,” “Ben Hur,” and much more.
The performance will also mark the last show for longtime conductor Matthew Kraemer.
It begins with the pre-concert lecture at 6:30 p.m. and the show at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are available through the symphony’s website or at the door.
