The Pittsburgh area continues to receive poor grades on its overall air quality according to a new report.
The American Lung Association released its State of the Air Report yesterday, and the Pittsburgh metro region is among the worst out of 25 different regions.
The area received poor grades for things like fine particle pollution. However, Pittsburgh did improve its ozone smog grading, receiving a “C” for the first time ever.
The American Lung Association says the fine particle pollution can be dangerous to everyone’s health.
