State police are conducting a car seat safety check this weekend in Kittanning.
The event is happening this Saturday at the state police barracks on Parkview Drive. Police say certified child passenger safety technicians will be on hand to check the installation and use of car seats.
You can schedule an appointment by calling the State Police or visit the barracks that day.
Police say all children under the age of 8 must be in an approved car seat while riding in a vehicle.
