The Pittsburgh Pirates fell to the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday, the final 4-3.
Leading the Buccos offensively was third baseman Ke’Bryan Hayes, who drove in three runs with a third inning triple. Mitch Keller started on the mound for the Pirates, and pitched six innings and struck out eight while allowing three hits and two runs. The Pittsburgh pitching staff combined for 12 strikeouts on Saturday.
