It’s another day where Butler County residents will be under an air quality alert.
The Department of Environmental Protection issued the Code Orange Alert for the third consecutive day. The alert will run through at least midnight.
Once again, officials advise that the air may be unhealthy for individuals who are in the sensitive groups—that would include children, the elderly, along with those who suffer from asthma, heart disease, or other lung diseases.
The smoke from the Canadian wildfires is expected to linger for at least another day according to the National Weather Service.
