A well-known pastor in the Karns City area has died.
Reverend Harry Waldroup died late last week at his son’s home.
Waldroup began his time as a pastor at Christ Gospel Church in Karns City, along with a Baptist church in Eau Claire.
He would go on to preach at many other area churches, with family members saying he would talk to anyone about Jesus.
Waldroup was also employed at Penreco for 44 years.
A service will be held at the Crisswell Bible Baptist Church on Friday at 11 a.m.
Waldroup was 89.
