Day 2 of the MLB draft saw the Pittsburgh Pirates select Oregon State infielder Garrett Forrester with their 73rd overall pick in the third round. The Pirates went on to select seven pitchers Monday. One of the pitchers is right-handed reliever Carlson Reed from West Virginia. Four other pitchers were selected from college teams in the SEC.
