The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is continuing summer road project maintenance work in Butler County this week.
These activities include bridge work, which will be occurring along Prospect Road (Route 528) in Connoquenessing Township and Halston Road in Slippery Rock Township as well as drainage work on Creek Bottom Road in Venango Township and Boyers Road in Slippery Rock Township.
Crews will also work on pipe replacement along Dick Road in Connoquenessing Township and pipe trenches in Butler Township on McQuistion Road.
Patching will be taking place on Herman Road in Summit Township, Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township, and Saxonburg Road in Jefferson Township while seal coating can be expected on Lardintown Road in Clinton Township along with Sarver and Ekastown (Route 228) Roads in Buffalo Township.
Shoulder cutting is planned for Glen Eden and Rochester Roads in Cranberry Township and Franklin Road in Jackson Township.
