A local company has signed on as the title sponsor of this project to help provide a focal gathering place and centerpiece for Cranberry residents and visitors.
Armstrong is the naming rights partner of the Cranberry Township Community Chest 2023 Project of the Year called “The Great Lawn” which will connect the Municipal Center to the community with a pedestrian friendly shared space.
This initiative will include the construction of a green gathering space, expansion of pedestrian connections, and upgrades to the Municipal Center. Officials believe this open space will impact the township in many ways, including space to relax, improved connectivity, and environmental conservation.
The current Municipal Center opened in 1991 while Armstrong has part of the Butler County community for over 40 years.
