This past June closed the books on the fiscal year and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is showing some big-time numbers.
In the past year, casinos brought in $5.5 billion in total revenue—which is a new state record. The state also benefits from the higher gambling numbers, netting $2.37 billion in taxes.
This past June brought in $440.5 million for casinos, which is up 22 percent compared to June 2022.
