A new organization that helps foster children is launching this weekend in Butler.
Isaiah 117 is a Tennessee-based nonprofit that cares for children awaiting foster placement.
This Sunday, the group is hosting a kickoff event at the Butler Intermediate High School. The organization’s founder will be on-hand to give a presentation on how Isaiah 117 started and its mission.
The event starts at 2 p.m. and is open to the public.
