The Pittsburgh Pirates dropped the first game of a three-game series at PNC Park against the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday night by a score of 2-1.
Mitch Keller took the loss, pitching 5.2 innings while allowing 6 hits, including a 3rd inning 2-run homer to Kyle Schwarber, 3 walks, and 8 strikeouts. First baseman Ji-Man Choi drove in the Pirates’ lone run on an RBI-double in the 4th inning.
