Seneca Valley is looking for local veterans as they plan an event for later this year.
The district is hosting a Veteran Recognition Day during the first Seneca Valley football game of the year—which is September 15th.
Prior to the game, veterans will help place American Flag stickers on the team’s helmets. There will also be a pre-game ceremony to recognize the veterans that have served in the Seneca Valley School District.
If you are interested or know of a veteran who would like to participate, you’re encouraged to register by email by the end of the month. Organizers ask that you send your name, address, phone number, rank, and years of service to Linda Andreassi, SVSD Communications, 124 Seneca School Rd., Harmony, PA 16037, or email [email protected] by Aug. 31, 2023.
