This week marks the beginning of the North Washington Rodeo.
The festivities kick off at 6 p.m. Monday with a Kick-Off Party at the rodeo arena on Route 38. Admission is free for that event and will include concessions and entertainment until 11 p.m.
The official 63rd annual sanctioned rodeo runs Tuesday through Saturday beginning at 8 p.m. each night.
At a cost of $18 for adults, $16 in advance, $9 for kids 4 to 12, the rodeo serves as the main fundraiser for the North Washington Volunteer Fire Department. Kids 3 and younger are free.
