The Cranberry Township Board of Supervisors is considering adopting recommendations about diversity and inclusion later this week.
The Cranberry Township Inclusion, Diversity, Equity Advisory or IDEA team advisory committee worked with staff to develop a set of guiding parameters to formally establish a leadership committee.
With members appointed by the Board of Supervisors, the leadership committee will work with township staff to provide recommendations to the township in order to support diversity efforts.
This process began when Cranberry Township residents were able to contribute to this effort through a survey a year ago.
