Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin confirmed Tuesday that quarterback Kenny Pickett did not suffer a serious knee injury in the loss to the Houston Texans Sunday and will practice today as the team prepares to host the Baltimore Ravens this weekend. Pickett suffered a bone bruise, his availability for the Sunday afternoon game will be determined in this week’s practices.
Tomlin expressed disappointment in how his team responded physically in the loss to the Texans and felt Houston played harder. Thus the team will suit up in pads today as preparations begin.
The Ravens enter the game 3-1 and are early 3-1/2 point favorites. IF the 2-2 Steelers would win, they would take over first place in the AFC North thanks to tie-breaker victories over Baltimore and Cleveland.
