The Butler County Community College women’s volleyball team shutout Jamestown 3-0 last night, improving to 14-5 overall this season. Johnna Hill led the Lady Pioneers with 10 kills and four aces. Aryana Girvan had five kills. BC3 will host Penn State Beaver Monday.
Aryana Girvan was recently honored as one of the Region 20 players of the month. She leads her team with 169 kills this season, including a BC3 single-match record-tying 27 kills against Penn State Greater Allegheny, which she totaled in just four sets. Girvan has recorded 10 or more kills in eight matches for the Lady Pioneers, who were ranked 13th in the most recent junior college Division III poll September 25th.
