Karns City quarterback Mason Martin could soon be transferred to a rehab facility.
While still unconscious, Mason is on track to be transferred to UPMC Mercy next week.
According to an update by his father, Mason will open his eyes about halfway and blink a few times. He also was able to squeeze the hands of the rehab team on command, which his father says is the first time he has physically responded to a command.
Mason’s father also says that the doctor believes Mason is “off the charts with regards to what they typically see.”
The Martin family continues to express their thanks to the community for their support during this time.
