A man is facing charges after stealing over $1,000 worth of items in Marion Township.
Police say the incident happened on October 12 when troopers were called to a home on the 2000 block of West Sunbury Road for a report of stolen scrap metal. The homeowner told police that just over $1,200 of scrap metal taken from him.
After an investigation by police, it was determined that 43-year-old James Watterson of Emlenton stole the scrap metal.
Police did not say if the scrap metal was returned.
