WPIAL Soccer Playoffs:
–North Allegheny defeated Butler 3-2 in the Class 4A Semifinals. The Tigers will meet Norwin in the championship match Saturday at Highmark Stadium.
–The South Fayette girls defeated Mars 1-0 on penalty kicks in the Class 3A Semifinals. The Planets fell for the first time this season after a scoreless game in regulation, with South Fayette winning 3-2 on penalty kicks to decide the game. Mars will face Montour in the Class 3A Consolation game Thursday.
