The Pittsburgh Penguins split their weekend games after 3-0 shutout of the Vegas Golden Knights last night at PPG Paints Arena. Goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic returned from Injured Reserve to stop all 38 shots from Vegas. It was the Penguins fourth shutout of the season. Ryan Graves scored the opening and game-winning goal for the Penguins. It was his first goal as a Penguin.
The Pens had another game in which they gave up three third period goals Saturday, in their 4-2 road loss to Carolina. Sidney Crosby scored twice in that game.
The Pens host the New York Rangers Wednesday.
